Historical Cemetery Facts:

• There are approximately 3700 different owners of Burial rights at
  Bethlehem Cemetery has about 8,835 burials, of whom nearly 600 are veterans.
• This past Memorial Day we assisted the American Legion Post #46 in setting up nearly 600 US flags with help from THE BETHLEHEM VETERANS AND FRIENDS church group.
• There are 640 columbarium niches, with 440 owned and 200 available; they contain 300 cremains to date.
• About 50 burials in the cemetery have a last name of Allmendinger; and about 40 are named Schmid.
• The beginning of Bethlehem Church dates back to the days of the early German settlers in the Territory of Michigan, 1833.
