The April tornado damage/clean-up continues at the cemetery.
The 28 fallen trees and stumps have been removed, the broken fence has been restored, and the damage to the building’s roof has been repaired.
However, more tree trimming is still needed, and work is being scheduled for necessary asphalt repair to fix the roads where fallen tree roots lifted and broke up the asphalt and created some potholes.
The costs of maintaining the trees and roads are always our largest yearly budgeted expenses. But this year has been more challenging than usual, and unfortunately, both our tree fund and road funds are depleted.
With all this in mind, we thank you in advance for any monetary donations you may choose to direct our way in order to offset these larger than normal expenses.
Enjoy the rest of Summer!!
